- How does diet relate to health
Mini Campaign: Data collection set ideas for the holiday
- 1) How does diet relate to health
- For a day gather visual (and journal) information about what you eat
- Keep Journal:
- 1. time of day, 2. what you eat, 3. context of meal
Action Items -
- Jeff will send out diet recording protocol
- Jeff will send out instructions on how to install Racoon web server on phone.
- Andrew will get someone to tweak the code (opportunistic upload, marshalling of a java object).
- Jeff will send 3 papers out to us on citizen science, cultural probes, & photo journalism. (Jeff will put this on a wiki)
- Send an idea back to Jeff about what we’d like to do with resepect to one or more areas (what we’d like others to do).
- Nicolai is going to maintain a general subversion repository for all Urban sensing code. (We’d like to develop a ‘library’ of modules for all to use, rather than having to keep personal libs)
- Nicolai will talk to Thomas about repository and Andrew about upload code
- One paper to read for Jan. 11 Partisan meeting.
- Get a SensorBase account at sensorbase.org
Things that need a module: upload, image, audio, video, cell tower id, etc.
DEF. Data Collection Protocol – Information sent out to the cell user on how to collect data, e.g. take a picture every m seconds of x, record some audio, answer a question…
