Welcome to the new CENS Wiki. This wiki provides mostly internal information that is of use to CENS in general, with links to materials specific to particular labs, faculty groups, and projects. CENS participants are invited to add to this wiki, or include links to other web or wiki pages. Note that while this wiki is intended for internal use, it is not password-protected from the world at large, so private information needs to be placed elsewhere. Please email sysadmin@cens.ucla.edu for assistance in setting up a protected wiki and/or web page.

The main CENS web page provides extensive information of public interest for external consumption.

Wiki contributors need to get an account first. Please also see documentation on customizing the interface and the User's Guide for usage and configuration help.

Note: Previous CSL wiki users' content is preserved, but reorganized, on this page as of 2007-09-13. If you can't readily find your material in a reasonable place, please contact rguy@cs.ucla.edu for assistance.

Acoustic

Distributed acoustic sensing is one of the early and persistent challenges for distributed sensing. The ability to detect, classify and localize acoustic events of interest over a given area is extremely useful for bioacoustics research.

This page describes the hardware and software platforms we have created to support distributed acoustic sensing.
